He then transitioned to Procter & Gamble, where he served as a process engineer from 1986 to 1987, before advancing to the role of technology manager from 1987 to 1990. His tenure at Procter & Gamble was marked by notable achievements, including receiving the Stan Adams Reliability Award in the Paper Division in 1990.
In 1990, Mr. Stevens embarked on a distinguished journey with Bechtel Corporation, where he held various positions of increasing responsibility and leadership. From 1990 to 1999, he transitioned from project engineering manager to site manager, overseeing critical projects and demonstrating exceptional managerial skills. His contributions were recognized with the President’s Award for Team Excellence from Shell Oil Co. in 1994. Continuing his career trajectory, Mr. Stevens assumed the role of engineering manager in Mexico from 1999 to 2000, followed by a brief stint as a project manager from 2000 to 2001. Throughout his career, Mr. Stevens has been the recipient of numerous awards and accolades, including being named Nuclear Power Project of the Year in 2013 and receiving the prestigious Kuebler Award from Alpha Chi Sigma in 2006.
