Before embarking on his professional path, Mr. Mohr pursued an education at San Jose State University, where he earned a master’s degree in applied anthropology in 2014. He continued his academic pursuits with a Bachelor of Arts in German from San Jose State University in 2003 and a dual Bachelor of Science in math and computer science and French from Santa Clara University in 1990. Following these accomplishments, he completed certifications in being an effective team member from LinkedIn in 2021 and as a certified localization project manager from The Localization Institute in 2015.

Beyond his responsibilities within the field, Mr. Mohr has participated in various civic initiatives, including serving as a village and interchange leader at CISV International from 2006 to 2010. He also authored the book “Creating Software for Language and Culture,” published in 2014. In light of his impressive undertakings, he has accrued several accolades throughout his career, including being nominated for Employee of the Year at Lockheed Technical Operations Company. He attributes his success to his perseverance and determination. Looking ahead, he plans to continue his academic pursuits and live abroad with his children. He also aspires to write two more books. As an engineer, he emphasizes the importance of making engineering adaptive to humans and ensuring products meet the needs of diverse populations.
