With nearly a decade and a half of experience to his credit, Mr. Leybovich has carved out a distinguished career in the field of software engineering and game development. Currently excelling as a senior unity engineer at Left Field Labs since 2020, he plays a pivotal role in developing advanced interactive applications and experiences. In this position, he collaborates with a team of engineers and designers to create innovative solutions for various clients.

Prior to this position, Mr. Leybovich was a senior software engineer at Magic Leap from 2018 to 2020, where he contributed to the development of augmented reality applications. He also served as a senior software engineer at Meta Co. from 2017 to 2018, focusing on immersive technologies. From 2016 to 2017, he worked as a game client engineer at WGT Media Inc. His career began as a mobile developer at App Partner from 2011 to 2013, and then joined Scopely as a unity developer, initially in internal games from 2013 to 2014, and later in publishing from 2014 to 2015. He further honed his skills as a software engineer in games at DeNA West from 2015 to 2016.

Laying a solid foundation for his future success, Mr. Leybovich pursued an education at Borough of Manhattan Community College, The City University of New York, where he earned an Associate of Science in computer programming in 2009. He continued his academic efforts at Full Sail University, earning a Bachelor of Computer Science in game development and graduating as salutatorian in 2011. 

In addition to his primary vocation, Mr. Leybovich remains affiliated with various organizations related to his areas of expertise. He has maintained his involvement as a dedicated volunteer at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles since 2014, Junior Blind since 2013, and Give Kids the World since 2010. He also volunteered with Mission Bit from 2016 to 2017 and founded and organized the Facebook group Programming Interview Training in 2011. Additionally, he contributed to an after-school program at a San Francisco Bay Area high school and co-founded and served as president and board director of a nonprofit organization. He was also an organizer of the Game Ideation Club from 2013 to 2015.

In light of his impressive undertakings, Mr. Leybovich has accrued several accolades throughout his career. He was recognized as a finalist in the “Xavier: Renegade Angel, Create Your Own Episode” Contest by Adult Swim, and in the Doubles Ping Pong Tournament at Scopely. At Full Sail University, he was a finalist in the “RoboCode” Tournament, a nominee for the Advanced Achiever Award, and was presented with course director awards in Programming One and Programming Three. Additionally, he received a certificate of appreciation for his work on “Plunder!”

A standout moment in Mr. Leybovich’s career was working for Left Field Labs and other companies specializing in developing innovative and cutting-edge technology projects, applications, and games. He is particularly proud of his association with Metavision, a pioneering organization that developed augmented reality headsets, which marked a significant breakthrough in Silicon Valley’s technology space.

Mr. Leybovich attributes his success to his unwavering passion for knowledge and dedication to his field. Looking ahead, he aspires to become an entrepreneur. He is currently engaged in several auxiliary undertakings, hoping that they might become lucrative and eventually enable him to be his own boss. When giving advice to aspiring professionals, he emphasizes the importance of continuous learning and staying curious about new technologies and innovations.
