Matthew O. Keane

Title: Principal Client Solutions Architect
Company: Ahead
Location: Gilbert, Arizona, United States

Matthew O. Keane, principal client solutions architect at Ahead, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Engineers for dedication, achievements, and leadership in data security.

Across a career of nearly 25 years, Mr. Keane has built a reputation for leadership and commitment to excellence wherever he goes. In his current role as the principal client solutions architect for Ahead, he works with a mixed team of engineers and sales leaders to support the company’s efforts to build and maintain digital platforms. By bridging the gap between the sales and technical sides of the company, Mr. Keane has become an essential element of a $75 million business. He attributes his success to focusing on people first, despite working in the field of technology, and always endeavoring to understand why people make the choices they make.

Mr. Keane’s tenure at Ahead began when it merged with Vcore, where he had held the position of technical director of data protection practice and strategic accounts since 2018. Prior to that, he contributed at Dell Inc. for more than 10 years. Mr. Keane joined the organization as a senior advisory technical consultant in 2005 and was later promoted to software sales manager and account executive. Earlier in his professional life, he served as a network support engineer at MTI Technology. His career in information technology (IT) started as a support engineer at Hope International University.

Though he’s become an esteemed figure in technology, Mr. Keane didn’t initially plan to go down this professional path. Originally from Jamaica, he immigrated to the United States and attended Hope International University, earning a Bachelor of Arts in psychology in 2000. However, during this time, Mr. Keane decided to pursue IT as his career while focusing on psychology as his passion. He has discovered ways for these two fields to complement each other and lead to notable accomplishments in each. Mr. Keane’s accolades include being presented the EMC Platinum Player Award and being listed in the top 10 pre-sales group at Dell. Additionally, he has been bolstered by connections to others through membership in the Mesa Country Club.

In addition to his primary vocation, Mr. Keane is dedicated to civic advocacy. He is a devout churchgoer and supporter of a variety of nonprofits, and in 2024 he co-founded The Prodigal Hope Project LLC alongside his wife, Krista. Through this organization, Mr. Keane offers support to parents navigating estranged relationships with one or more children. He provides space for parents to share their stories through the project while demonstrating understanding through his own tale of struggling through loss. Mr. Keane’s work through The Prodigal Hope Project LLC showcases how important ministry and connection are to him.

Outside of his career, Mr. Keane enjoys taking vacations, listening to music, playing golf and worshipping at his church. Reflecting the support he has received throughout his life, his goal for the future is to build a platform that uplifts and empowers others. While he is approaching the end of his career in tech, Mr. Keane hopes to continue making strong contributions to Ahead. Beyond that, he envisions focusing more on philanthropy and ministry, with the ultimate hope to leave a lasting positive influence on people’s lives.
