His previous positions include assistant director of engineering and energy manager at HHC from 2020 to 2021, assistant director of engineering at Mount Sinai Health System from 2019 to 2020, and cogeneration plant manager at Montefiore Health System from 2015 to 2019.

He laid a solid educational foundation, he completed coursework in electrical engineering, electronics, and telecommunications at the University of Technology, Kingston, an Associate of Science in electrical engineering technologies from SUNY Westchester Community College, and a Bachelor of Engineering in marine engineering-electrical from Maritime College, State University of New York.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, Mr. Williams was recognized as part of the COVID Centers of Excellence Dream Team for his critical contributions. In March 2020, as New York City Health and Hospitals went into emergency mode, he played a pivotal role in the expansion of North Central Hospital, adding 120 ICU beds for COVID-19 patients while overseeing infrastructure upgrades, equipment procurement, and ventilation improvements. Despite the urgent circumstances, he managed the entire construction process, reviewing and verifying approximately $25 million in change orders, and coordinating with experts in chemical, electrical, and plumbing systems to ensure accuracy. He also led a team in procuring and managing $30 million worth of medical equipment, ensuring that the hospital had the necessary resources to handle the crisis. Upon returning to his central office, he took on the task of resolving hundreds of unpaid vendor invoices, ensuring the smooth operation of the city’s healthcare system during the pandemic.
Another standout moment in Mr. Williams’ career was his leadership in the $115 million emergency response project at North Central Bronx Hospital. This project involved remodeling 50,000 square feet of patient care and administrative areas to accommodate COVID-19 patients, including the addition of 12 ICU beds and 42 for dialysis patients. He attributes much of his success to the unwavering support of his family and his frontline experience during the pandemic. He is dedicated to his current role as director of engineering but is setting his sights on advancing to the position of vice president of engineering and facilities. While he remains open to exploring new opportunities in the future, his immediate focus is on his family and his ongoing work.
