Emin Mukanovic, MS, Lead Design Engineer at AT&T, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Professional for dedication, achievements, and leadership in Information Technology.
Mr. Mukanovic is an experienced professional with extensive expertise in information technology, systems and network administration. He has been a senior radio access network professional at AT&T since 2017 and a lead radio access network and distributed antenna systems design engineer since 2024. This position includes designing cellular networks related to big venues and special events for the telecommunication company, such as concerts and universities. Affiliated with AT&T since 2010, Mr. Mukanovic began as a professional radio access network professional.
Before being recruited by AT&T, Mr. Mukanovic was an RF DAS design engineer at Westell Technologies Inc. from 2008 to 2010 and a field service manager at DISH Network LLC between 2004 and 2008. He also garnered success at BH Telecom in Bosnia and Herzegovina for over five years, where he was critical in the government’s decision to introduce solar coverage, marking the beginning of his journey in the solar industry. Following his move to the U.S. in 2001, Mr. Mukanovic eventually found success in engineering after establishing himself again in 2010. Throughout his career, he is most proud of his contributions to designing the Gillette Stadium, Buffalo Bills’ Highmark Stadium, and Harvard University Hospital from the ground up, and filing a U.S. patent through AT&T, which is pending.
In preparation for his career, Mr. Mukanovic received a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering technology from the University of New Hampshire in 2010 and a Master of Science in electrical engineering from Ohio University in 2020. Besides his education, he has remained abreast in the industry as a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers. Mr. Mukanovic is also active civically as a member of the Ohio University Alumni Association and the University of New Hampshire Alumni Association, serves on a committee for the 2026 World Cup, focuses on capacity analysis, and does volunteer work with Saint Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
