Before joining Best Buy Company, Mr. Manchikanti held various other significant roles, including as a senior consultant at JPMorgan Chase & Company between 2015 and 2016, where he notably designed a TOSCA-based cloud orchestration engine. From 2011 to 2015, as a technical lead at Thomas Reuters, he oversaw the award-winning Firmsite Publisher CMS and delved into artificial intelligence technologies like TensorFlow. Earlier, Mr. Manchikanti worked for Goldman Sachs, UBS, Lehman Brothers, and Wings Consultants, where he focused on driving operational efficiency.
In preparation for his future, Mr. Manchikanti received a Bachelor of Technology in computer science from Koneru Lakshmaiah College of Engineering in 2002 and a Master of Business Administration from IBS Hyderabad in 2005. He also received several professional designations, adding to his credibility in his field, including credentials as a Sun-Certified Java programmer, Amazon Web Services solutions architect from Louisiana State University, and a Python for Data Science designation from Cornell University. In light of his success, Target Inc. recognized Mr. Manchikanti with several Innovation Awards for “Fast Checkout” and “Shop By Recipe.” He previously received the Innovation Award from Thomas Reuters for the Firmsite Replicator, which saved approximately 30 person-days annually. Moreover, Mr. Manchikanti won First Prize at the FindLaw Customer Expo in 2012 for Mobile Firmsites for enhancing usability and client engagement. These accolades recognize his dedication to driving impactful results, continuous learning and adaptability to changing technologies and industry trends.
