With over a decade of experience, Mr. Sallee has built a successful career in engineering and technology. He currently serves as a technical manager at Hexagon Asset Lifecycle Intelligence in Houston, Texas, a role he has held since 2021. His previous positions include project and implementation manager for Cyber Integrity at PAS from 2019 to 2021, project engineer at PAS from 2016 to 2018, research assistant in R&D at UTMB from 2014 to 2015, and co-op in bioengineering and innovation technology at Texas Children’s Hospital in 2014. Earlier in his career, he worked as an account manager at Airport Business Park in Houston from 2006 to 2010. Laying an educational foundation, he earned an Associate of Applied Science in biotechnology and engineering from the University of Texas at San Antonio in 2003, a Bachelor of Science in biochemistry and biotechnology from the University of Houston-Clear Lake in 2012, and a master’s degree in biochemical engineering from the University of Houston in 2016.
Mr. Sallee has contributed to his field as a co-author of “Neonatal Transport Incubator Vibration Identification, Ranking and Attenuation – A Novel Approach to Patient-tray Stabilization,” published in the Journal of Clinical Engineering in 2016. He has also served as a teaching assistant at the University of Houston-Clear Lake from 2013 to 2015 and as the founder of Torch of Academic Proliferation, which he established in 2014. Dedicated to community service, he volunteers with Ronald McDonald House Charities, the Muscular Dystrophy Association, and the Alzheimer’s Association. In light of his impressive undertakings, he received numerous honors, including the Key Contributor Award from Hexagon AB in 2023 and the Outstanding Employee Achievement Award from PAS Global in 2019. He also received several leadership and service awards during his academic career, including the National Engaged Leadership Award and the Servant Scholar Recipient honor. He attributes his success to the inspiring individuals in his life who motivate him to reach his full potential. Looking to the future, he plans to enhance his leadership skills, explore a potential political career, and serve as a positive role model for his children, instilling values of integrity and commitment.
