Shubham Pandey, director of software and data engineering at Expedia Inc., has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Engineers for dedication, achievements, and leadership in technology.
Mr. Pandey has garnered remarkable success in technology since entering the industry. After spending his first few years working in his home country of India for Accenture, he established himself in the U.S., culminating in his latest role as the director of software and data engineering at Expedia Group, Expedia Inc., in Seattle. Since 2023, Mr. Pandey has been instrumental in managing the service data strategy, leading a team of over 50 engineers globally as they implement data strategies that include real-time and historical data engineering, analytics, and machine learning and intelligence systems.
Before being promoted to director, Mr. Pandey served in several other positions, beginning in 2018 as a software development engineer II. He also worked with Syntel Inc. in Phoenix as a consultant from 2016 to 2018 and Accenture in Bloomington and Normal, Indiana, as a software engineering consultant between 2010 and 2016. Earlier, he briefly worked for American Express Technologies. Mr. Pandey’s expertise in data-driven microservices, data architecture, cloud excellence and real-time analytics has been pivotal to his continued success.
A graduate of Amity University in India, Mr. Pandey received a Bachelor of Technology in computer science in 2010. Besides his educational accomplishments, he is active in the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, where he can remain at the forefront of his industry. Civically, he enjoys giving back to nonprofit organizations that support children. Throughout his career, Mr. Pandey has been grateful for his contributions to developing and designing a real-time analytic system on the cloud for customers and having at least 2,000 users daily to manage their operations. Drawing the most success from his discipline and perseverance toward achieving his goals, he looks forward to creating more jobs and opportunities for others.
