Today, as a project software engineer, Mr. Tran is affiliated with Capgemini, a leading global business and technology transformation partner based in France. Since 2024, he has been pivotal in enabling business clients to brainstorm new ideas and plan their development while implementing new features into bug-logging tools. He is also working on a Microsoft mixed reality project, where he has developed features for an observation logging tool to be used by users of mixed reality technology in the field.

Leveraging a diverse career history, Mr. Tran has continually progressed throughout his tenure in the field. Before joining Capgemini in Redmond, Washington, he was acquired as a freelance game tester for the Good Gamer Group. Here, he has been tasked with testing unreleased games and being able to answer questions and provide meaningful and constructive feedback based on his preferences as a gamer.

Mr. Tran previously worked for CARIAD Inc. in Redmond from 2020 to 2024 as a software developer II. Recognized as the automotive software for Volkswagen, he utilized the C#, Azure and Cosmos Database technologies to advance in his role. Mr. Tran was also employed by Expedia Group, Expedia Inc., beginning in 2015 as a software engineer in test and then as a software development engineer I. Among numerous other roles, Mr. Tran garnered success with companies like Nytec in Bellevue, Washington, Microsoft in Redmond, and TEKSystems based in Hanover, Maryland. His entire career has been devoted to software development, particularly code quality and efficiency within the tech industry, backed by extensive experience and perseverance.

A graduate of Central Washington University in Ellensburg, Mr. Tran received a Bachelor of Science in computer science in 2006. Subsequently, he completed coursework toward a Master of Business Administration in operations management and supervision at the Jack Welch Management Institute in Herndon, Virginia, in 2021. Aside from his education, Mr. Tran has been affiliated as a member of the Association for Computing Machinery, where he has remained at the forefront of his industry and has been able to network with other industry leaders.

Throughout his career, Mr. Tran garnered the most success while employed by Expedia Group, Expedia Inc., where he was instrumental in developing a tool that improved communication between customer service representatives and travelers relying on their assistance to reach their destinations. This accomplishment enabled Mr. Tran to significantly advance his skills as a software developer, and he has since become widely recognized by his peers, many of whom turn to him for guidance and support.

Attributing much of his success to being mindful, Mr. Tran is eager to drive positive change in the future. His goals entail leading his organization as it continually excels. He also intends to ensure that his knowledge and values have a lasting impact that can be passed down.
