Mr. Narayanan, an esteemed principal engineer at NVIDIA, an American multinational corporation and technology company headquartered in Santa Clara, California, has been active in his position since 2021. As such, he serves as a technical lead for hardware verification, which is considered a key aspect of hardware engineering. Highly successful in his role, Mr. Narayanan leverages over 25 years as a professional engineer specializing in hardware engineering. In 1998, he started his career as a support engineer at HCL Infosystems Ltd., working on customer support for Intel boxes, Sun Servers, Cisco Switches, and Windows and Solaris OS.
Before joining NVIDIA, Mr. Narayanan was an engineering technical lead for hardware verification at Alibaba Group in Sunnyvale, California, where he collaborated to build several products from the ground up. As the technical lead for the hardware verification of the data center product, Mr. Narayanan was instrumental in ensuring all aspects of the product were ready for deployment. Among numerous other significant roles throughout his tenure in this sector, he was a senior staff verification engineer at Huawei Technologies in San Francisco and a senior verification engineer at Imagination Technologies, Samsung Semiconductor Inc. and Broadcom (through Netlogic Microsystems).
Highly educated, Mr. Narayanan received a Bachelor of Science in electronics and communications from the University of Madras in India. Subsequently, he received a Master of Arts in electrical engineering and a second Master of Arts in computer engineering from the University of Texas in Dallas in 2003 and 2004, respectively. In light of his numerous industry-related accomplishments, Mr. Narayanan was lauded with a VP Spotlight Award and a Future Star Award for best team performance. Furthermore, Mr. Narayanan’s community involvement earned him a Bronze and Silver Award from Toastmasters International.
