Before his tenure at Apple Inc., Mr. Mahajan served as a design engineer at Inphi Corporation (now Marvell Technology) in San Jose, California, from 2013 to 2015. During this period, he honed his skills in technology development and innovation at the semiconductor manufacturing company, laying the groundwork for his future accomplishments.
Mr. Mahajan’s earlier experiences included several internships that paved the way toward a bright career in the consumer electronics industry. He completed an internship at Ericsson from 2012 to 2013, during which he gained valuable insights into telecommunications technology. In 2012, he interned as a design engineer at Texas Instruments Incorporated. His first internship was at Arm Limited in 2011.
In addition to these experiences, Mr. Mahajan had the opportunity to work as a teaching assistant at Stanford University. He was also a summer research fellow at the Indian Academy of Sciences in 2010 and completed summer research in the department of atomic energy at the Indira Gandhi Centre for Atomic Research, Government of India.
Mr. Mahajan’s academic journey began with a Bachelor of Engineering in electrical and electronics engineering, with honors, from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, in 2011. He continued his education at Stanford University, earning a Master of Science in electrical engineering in 2013. These academic achievements have been instrumental in shaping Mr. Mahajan’s career, providing him with the technical knowledge and analytical skills necessary for his roles in cutting-edge technology development.
Throughout his career, Mr. Mahajan has been recognized for his contributions to the field of electrical engineering. He is a senior member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE). His involvement underscores his commitment to staying at the forefront of technological advancements while fostering collaboration among peers. Civically, Mr. Mahajan donates to Feeding America and supports dog rescue organizations.
As a seasoned researcher, Mr. Mahajan has served as an editor for the IEEE newsletter, where he continues to contribute to the dissemination of knowledge within the engineering community. He has also secured several patents related to his innovations. In 2015, Mr. Mahajan was nominated for the IEEE Rising Stars Conference.
