Ms. Mukherjee joined Hewlett-Packard in 2016 as a system engineer, working out of Bangalore in her home country of India. Moving to Dubai, United Arab Emirates, in 2018, she accepted a position as a platform security developer at OSN, a Middle Eastern media company.
Ms. Mukherjee’s further professional contributions include as an application and data engineer at Etisalat, a data analytics and AI developer and consultant at First Abu Dhabi Bank, and an AI full stack architect at McKesson. Since 2024, she has served as a senior enterprise architect at Mphasis. In this role, Ms. Mukherjee focuses on the development of AI applications that can help increase productivity. She also devotes time to mentoring and represents the company in numerous tech forums.
Making the transition to focus on AI in 2021, before the technology was as advanced and widely discussed as it is now, Ms. Mukherjee has proven herself as a future-oriented thought leader in her field. Establishing her credentials through blog posts, academic papers, hackathon presentations and more, she considers this shift to be a milestone moment in her life and the most notable achievement of her career so far. Among many projects in the AI space, Ms. Mukherjee assisted with the creation of “Daisy,” an advanced AI application that assists mortgage underwriters with document labeling and data extraction. Beyond this project, she has helped develop chatbots and invoice processing software, both powered by complex AI technology innovations.
Prior to embarking upon her career journey, Ms. Mukherjee set a dependable foundation with her education. She obtained a bachelor’s degree in information technology from Netaji Subhash Engineering College in 2011. Before immigrating to the United States, Ms. Mukherjee returned to school, earning a Master of Science in machine learning and AI from Liverpool John Moores University in 2021. She has additionally received academy accreditation in generative AI fundamentals from Databricks.
Ms. Mukherjee’s commitment to improving her industry is evident above and beyond her primary jobs. She holds senior membership in the Society of Women Engineers, where she prides herself on investing in mentorship. Ms. Mukherjee has provided essential insight to aid other women in discovering their own career paths within AI and technology.
