Mr. Flasher’s present responsibilities include determining key success factors, identifying challenges, understanding the financial implications of departmental work and reviewing monthly financial reports to assess performance. He likewise develops strategic plans for future years, including revenue forecasts, and manages the onboarding, interviewing and hiring of new staff. Additionally, Mr. Flasher administers a SharePoint site for one of the firm’s main clients.
Furthermore, Mr. Flasher works closely with five different teams to serve Dominion Energy, coordinating efforts to ensure consistent service delivery and alignment toward common goals. His collaborative approach extends across multiple locations, including Fort Mill in South Carolina, Dillon in Montana, Mount Laurel in New Jersey and Orlando in Florida. Since 2025, Mr. Flasher has also found success as a senior project lead I at POWER Engineers. In this post, he continues to provide oversight on complex projects while supporting the professional development of his colleagues.
Prior to these appointments, Mr. Flasher served as a second level project lead at POWER Engineers from 2024 to 2025. During this period, he was responsible for managing client projects and ensuring that deliverables met stringent quality standards. Earlier in 2024, Mr. Flasher accepted an area lead position—a supervisory role that allowed him to further develop his leadership skills over a ten-month tenure.
From 2023 to 2024, Mr. Flasher contributed as a level-one project lead at POWER Engineers, where he played a pivotal role in technical project management and design work related to protection and control systems. He was initially recruited by POWER Engineers as a level-three electrical engineer in 2022, during which time he specialized in protection and control design for substations.
Before joining POWER Engineers, Mr. Flasher built a strong foundation at Dominion Energy as a system protection technician from 2017 to 2022. In this capacity, he was involved in the installation and commissioning of protection and control schemes—a role that provided hands-on experience critical to his later success. Over the course of his tenure at Dominion Energy, Mr. Flasher notably installed and received a commission for the world’s first mobile.com system—an achievement that stands as a testament to his technical proficiency and innovation.
Mr. Flasher began his career through an engineering science technology internship at the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation in 2014. He subsequently completed a system protection internship at Dominion Energy in 2016. Moreover, Mr. Flasher refined his skills as a research assistant at The Pennsylvania State University in 2016, where he contributed to academic research initiatives.
To support his professional ambitions, Mr. Flasher pursued an education at The Pennsylvania State University, from which he earned a bachelor’s degree in electro-mechanical engineering technology in 2017. He also holds an AutoCAD certification from The Pennsylvania State University. These academic achievements have been instrumental in equipping him with the technical knowledge required for his roles in engineering design and project management.
Throughout his career, Mr. Flasher has attributed his success to several key influences, including his upbringing, which instilled a strong work ethic within him, as well as his field experience at Dominion Energy, which provided practical insights. Likewise, his passion for engineering drives his commitment to delivering high-quality results. Outside of his professional endeavors, Mr. Flasher enjoys golf and spending time with family.
