In 2024, Mr. Allen began serving as a senior design engineer at Freedom Forever, a residential solar installation company headquartered in Sandy, Utah. In this capacity, he is responsible for gathering detailed information on clients’ electrical usage histories, advising them on optimal solar models to meet their annual energy needs, and determining the most suitable battery backup solutions. Mr. Allen further enhanced his expertise by participating in the on-site installation of one of the plants he designed, gaining valuable insights from the perspective of installers.
Mr. Allen began his professional career in this sector at Vivint Solar in Lehi, Utah, in 2012 as a team lead. In this leadership role, he refined his skills in project management and team coordination over a period of more than five years, overseeing the successful implementation of numerous solar projects.
In preparation for his future, Mr. Allen’s academic background included coursework in information technology at Utah Valley University in Orem. He credits his adaptability and willingness to learn as key factors in his professional success and advancement within the industry.
Beyond his professional achievements, Mr. Allen demonstrated a strong commitment to civic engagement. This opportunity enabled Mr. Allen to make a positive impact in a field unrelated to his own and contribute to a worthy cause.
Mr. Allen’s dedication to excellence has been recognized multiple times through public acknowledgments in company-wide meetings for outstanding work. Eager for future success, he plans to further his education by pursuing a college degree or delving deeper into the field of electrical engineering.
