In this capacity, Mr. Lodi oversees the migration of application operating systems from legacy end-of-life platforms, collaborates with developers, application owners and business partners, and initiates and manages multiple projects. He is also responsible for building new systems and training platforms, developing and launching products on the Linux engineering side, participating in backup recovery and business continuity initiatives, assisting with data center mergers and migrations, and managing servers for continuous operations across global locations. Mr. Lodi’s work requires close collaboration with offices in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, Asia-Pacific and Australia.
In addition to his role at TP ICAP, Mr. Lodi has been affiliated with NASDAQ OMX, now Nasdaq Inc., since 2011 as a senior systems administrator and engineer. During his tenure, he also briefly served as a senior Linux engineer from 2011 to 2012.
Among other influential roles, Mr. Lodi was a senior systems administrator at Goldman Sachs. There, he worked under the mentorship of the head of the infrastructure, storage and Linux engineering division. He was a valued member of several groups within the firm, where he demonstrated initiative and an ability to quickly reproduce results. These qualities have helped define his career in financial technology environments.
Mr. Lodi also held concurrent roles as a senior Linux administrator at JRI America Inc. and as a senior Linux engineer at OOTC Markets Group Inc. He also advanced his expertise as a senior UNIX/Linux engineer at JPMorgan Chase & Co., while also serving as a senior UNIX and Linux administrator at Bear Stearns during the same period. Earlier in his career, Mr. Lodi was a senior systems analyst at OpHedge Investment Services LLC. He also excelled as a senior UNIX administrator at JWM Partners, dating back to 2001.
Mr. Lodi’s educational background has been instrumental in shaping his career trajectory. He earned a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology in 1989, ranking among the top 10% of students. He then completed a master’s degree in computer science from the City College of New York in 1995.
Beyond his degrees, Mr. Lodi has continued to expand his technical knowledge through certifications and additional coursework, including Red Hat Satellite 6 Administration and an ultra-low latency architecture course at New York University in 2024.
Mr. Lodi is actively involved with the Red Hat user group, participating in labs and discussions during new product launches. He also regularly attends technical summits, where he engages with prominent figures in the technology industry, further broadening his industry perspective.
