Ms. Nassereddine, a leader in engineering, consulting and higher education, has been at the helm of NCM Consulting LLC since 2022. As the president and chief executive officer of her company, she provides strategic guidance and expert consulting services within the construction management sector, establishing her reputation as a leader in the field.
In addition to her consulting appointment, Ms. Nassereddine is active in academia, currently serving as an associate professor at the University of Kentucky since 2023. In this capacity, she has demonstrated expertise in construction management, research and teaching, earning recognition for her commitment to academic excellence and student development. Ms. Nassereddine considers her most significant achievement to be witnessing the growth and impact of her undergraduate and graduate students, whom she has mentored throughout her career. Her dedication to fostering meaningful professional and personal development among her students underscores her influence as both an educator and mentor.
Active in education for over a decade, Ms. Nassereddine began teaching at the University of Kentucky in 2019 as an assistant professor before being promoted to a full professor. During this period, she contributed significantly to the university’s research initiatives and curriculum development in civil engineering and construction management.
Ms. Nassereddine’s earlier experience took place at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where she served as a teaching assistant from 2015 to 2018, developing instructional materials and providing academic support to students in engineering courses. She began as a research assistant on campus between 2014 and 2019, advancing research in construction engineering and management while supporting faculty-led projects.
In the field, Ms. Nassereddine completed an internship in the construction division at Pieper Electric, Inc., in New Berlin, Wisconsin, in 2016. There, she gained practical exposure to project management processes within an active construction environment, preparing project estimates and proposals for clients, reviewing plans and specifications, and more. Earlier, Ms. Nassereddine completed a traineeship with the project management unit on-site at A.R. Hourie in 2014, where she acquired foundational skills while assisting the project engineer.
Ms. Nassereddine’s academic background has been instrumental in shaping her professional trajectory. Her foundational studies culminated in a bachelor’s degree in civil and environmental engineering from Rafik Hariri University in 2014. She later attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where she acquired a master’s degree in construction and engineering management in 2016 and a Doctor of Philosophy candidate designation in construction engineering and management in 2019. Additionally, Mr. Nassereddine holds a certification in business, environment and social responsibility from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, which has enhanced her ability to integrate sustainable practices into her work.
As an active member of the American Society of Civil Engineers, Ms. Nassereddine remains engaged with advancements in civil engineering practice and research. Throughout her career, she has been recognized for her contributions to research and innovation, notably receiving the Early Career Award from ELECTRI and earning second place in the Competition on Artificial Intelligence organized by the American Society of Civil Engineers. Additionally, Ms. Nassereddine’s efforts at the University of Kentucky were recognized with the College of Engineering Excellence in Research Award and the Civil Engineering Department Outstanding Faculty of the Year distinction. Looking ahead, Ms. Nassereddine aims to continue teaching while addressing workforce challenges within the construction industry by inspiring students and advancing research-driven change across the sector.
