In 2024, Mr. Pedicini co-founded CleverApply and began serving as its chief technology officer, a venture he launched after connecting with his business partner through Y Combinator’s matching tool. CleverApply delivers an artificial intelligence (AI) -driven suite that streamlines international student enrollment for universities, modernizing application and visa processes, and supporting students as they transition to the United States. The company’s mission is to transform how universities expand their international student populations by replacing manual workflows with advanced technology.
Also in 2024, Mr. Pedicini launched CodeCompass, a consulting agency specializing in engineering leadership, software development and startup consulting. Through CodeCompass, he has provided guidance to emerging companies and leaders approaching their three-year milestone.
Mentorship has been a defining aspect of Mr. Pedicini’s career. From 2023 to 2025, he served as a software development career mentor through MentorCruise, guiding numerous junior developers and individuals seeking entry into the software industry. Mr. Pedicini’s involvement with MentorCruise enabled him to foster talent within the broader technology community while reinforcing his own leadership philosophy.
Mr. Pedicini was the frontend development lead engineer at Amazon.com Inc., Amazon Health, from 2022 to 2024. Notably, he played a pivotal role in Amazon’s acquisition of One Medical and led efforts to integrate its services into Amazon Prime. In 2023, Mr. Pedicini also contributed as a mentor II at Fullstack Academy, LLC, supporting students’ technical growth and professional development. From 2021 to 2022, he was a senior software engineer and frontend lead at Battleface, where he oversaw frontend architecture and implementation for travel insurance solutions.
Among his earlier roles, Mr. Pedicini excelled at COTA between 2016 and 2021, during which he progressed from quality assurance engineer to frontend engineer, lead frontend engineer and, ultimately, senior software engineer. Throughout these roles, he contributed to health care data analytics platforms that improved patient outcomes. Mr. Pedicini began his career at JPMorgan Chase & Co., first as a software development intern from 2013 to 2014 and then as a full-stack application developer until 2016.
Mr. Pedicini earned a Bachelor of Science in computer and information science from The Ohio State University in Columbus in 2014. His academic foundation equipped him with the technical expertise to achieve subsequent success across multiple sectors of the technology industry. Additionally, Mr. Pedicini has earned several professional credentials that have supported his professional growth, including a career growth mentor certification from MentorCruise in 2023 and a designation as a certified developer through Bubble Group Inc. in 2025.
Beyond his primary work-related endeavors, Mr. Pedicini manages a Discord community membership. His earlier engagements included serving as an information technology volunteer with Africa Bridge from 2014 to 2021, teaching with TEALSK12 between 2016 and 2017, and volunteering with the computer science club at Dublin City Schools from 2018 to 2019. Early on, Mr. Pedicini also volunteered as a computer training instructor in Mexico through International Volunteer HQ in 2012.
