Earlier, she spent nearly a decade at Cisco from 2009 to 2017 as a senior program manager in information technology, where she led cross-functional programs and contributed to large-scale technology implementations within a “mini-startup factory” inside the IT organization. She managed a diverse portfolio of implementations spanning sales, engineering, IT, and marketing.
Ms. Kohar began her U.S. career in human resources and talent acquisition with Robert Half from 2007 to 2009. Prior to moving to the United States, she served as an operations manager at Rouse, a global intellectual property law firm in Gurgaon, India, from 2005 to 2007. Her professional journey began in 2001 as head of the information technology Department at St. Kabir Public School in India, where she earned recognition for her innovative teaching practices and leadership in implementing technology infrastructure within educational institutions.
Instrumental to her success, Ms. Kohar holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Goswami Ganesh Dutta SD College in India, along with both a Master of Computer Science from Maharshi Dayanand University (MDU Rohtak) and a Master of Commerce from the University Business School at Panjab University. She has also completed professional courses at Stanford University in areas such as creating executable business strategies, creativity, and leadership. Further strengthening her expertise, she holds Google Cloud Digital Leader and Generative AI Leader certifications, along with strong proficiency in agile project management methodologies.
