Etienne J. F. Rogeau, Founder and Chief Executive Officer at NEOKA Group, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Engineers for dedication, achievements and leadership in Engineering and Project Management.
Mr. Rogeau’s illustrious career in engineering and project management has culminated in the ownership of NEOKA Group. After more than a decade in the industry, he launched his Canadian-based consulting company, providing engineering support to both the public and private sectors. Established in 2017, Mr. Rogeau’s firm has quickly established itself as a leader in providing comprehensive design services across multiple sectors, including life sciences, transportation and water treatment. Under his leadership, NEOKA Group has expanded operations internationally with offices in Quebec and France, with plans for further expansion into the U.S.
Inspired by his father’s international career as an engineer and executive at British Petroleum, Mr. Rogeau pursued a path that would see him contribute significantly to the field of engineering. After completing his advanced degree, he embarked on a professional journey that included roles such as process engineer at BWT Holding GmbH in Paris from 2007 to 2010 and application engineer at John Meunier – Veolia Water from 2010 to 2011.
Mr. Rogeau’s tenure at SNC-Lavalin (now AtkinsRéalis) marked a pivotal period in his career. He held various positions from 2011 to 2017, including project manager, commissioning technical lead and project director. Mr. Rogeau’s expertise was further honed during his time as a lead independent certifier and consultant with Mott MacDonald between 2017 and 2022, where he played a crucial role in the $3.6 billion CHUM super hospital project in Montréal. This project was completed in two phases, where he was responsible for determining when the project was ready to be handed over to the client. It required a thorough assessment to ensure the project complied with both technical and financial standards. Additionally, Mr. Rogeau was tasked with authorizing payments for this massive undertaking. Ultimately, he signed off on the project, confirming it was ready for transfer to the Ministry of Health of Quebec.
Following his undergraduate work, Mr. Rogeau earned a master’s degree in mechanical and industrial engineering from the Catholic Institute of Arts and Crafts in 2007. During his studies, he completed an engineering internship at British Petroleum in Grangemouth, Scotland, in 2004. Mr. Rogeau’s commitment to excellence is further reflected in numerous credentials, including Lean Six Sigma certification from McGill University and certification as a project management professional from the Project Management Institute in Montréal. Additionally, he received designation as a licensed professional engineer in Québec.
Beyond his professional achievements, Mr. Rogeau’s involvement with industry-related organizations, such as the Construction Association of South Florida, highlights his dedication to advancing the field of engineering. He is also deeply committed to civic engagement. He has served as an administrator for CCI France Canada – Montreal and Engineers Without Borders and participated in mission work with Water for People in Honduras. Mr. Rogeau’s contributions have left a lasting impact on communities both locally and internationally.
