Eldon L. Worley, product architect at the Vanguard Research Institute, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Engineers for dedication, achievements, and leadership in electrical engineering.
With 60 years of experience to his credit, Mr. Worley is a proven expert in the field of electrical and electronics engineering. Amongst his numerous professional efforts, he has most notably served as a product architect at the Vanguard Research Institute for many years. Additionally, since 1993, he has operated in software research and development at Vanguard Integrity Professionals. As part of his duties in the field, Mr. Worley primarily works in the domain of software development and both information and mainframe security.
Prior to his current appointments, Mr. Worley worked with IBM Research – Almaden from 1970 to 1992 as a member of the mainframe security staff. Likewise, from 1964 to 1992, he worked with the larger IBM Research. In his other earlier professional endeavors, he worked with Westinghouse as an electrical engineer for a year. As part of his dedication to his profession, Mr. Worley is also a former member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers.
Before embarking on his vocational journey, Mr. Worley cultivated his formal education. As a student of Oregon State University, he achieved a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering in 1963. To commemorate his achievements in the field, he has also been honored with several accolades. To wit, IBM recognized Mr. Worley with an Outstanding Contribution Award, and he similarly received a Corporate Award earlier in his career.
Having always held a sincere fascination for the field of engineering, Mr. Worley has naturally thrived in his chosen profession. In light of his fulfilling career, he has largely attributed his success to his continued dedication to learning. Accounting for his accomplishments, he is most notably proud to have developed the Resource Access Control Facility for IBM. In the coming years, Mr. Worley hopes to see new artificial intelligence emerge in the field of cybersecurity.
