She worked as a senior design engineer at EN Engineering from 2012 to 2014 before transitioning to Devon Energy as an engineering manager from 2014 to 2018. At Ingersoll Rand, she garnered a stellar reputation as a global engineering manager from 2018 to 2021. She was active as director of engineering at Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. from 2021 to 2023.
Before embarking on her professional path, Ms. Nayab pursued an education at ICS Tripoli, where she earned a diploma in 1994. She continued her academic efforts at the Government Engineering College in Modasa, Gajan, India, obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering in 2000. She concluded her studies at the Illinois Institute of Technology, graduating in 2004 with a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering.
Beyond her responsibilities within the field, Ms. Nayab has participated in numerous endeavors outside of her professional circles. She volunteered with food and clothing drives, interfaith and homeless charities at local mosques and churches, and several charities at local schools in India. She found success with her written works “Tidal Energy” and “Geothermal Energy,” which were published by the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers Power and Energy Society.
In addition to her primary vocation, Ms. Nayab remains affiliated with various organizations in relation to her areas of expertise. She was a member of the Society of Women Engineers and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers. In light of her impressive undertakings, she has accrued several accolades throughout her career. She was the recipient of multiple internal awards at several of her previous companies. In the immediate future, she intends to advance in her career and attain a managerial position where she can guide and mentor others.
