Mr. Munoz’s most notable achievement is his appointment to represent the National Air and Space Intelligence Center’s Committee on Foreign Investment, personally selected by a commander from a pool of 5,000 candidates. During his nearly two-decade career in the U.S. Air Force, including deployments to Afghanistan, Russia, and Colombia, he participated in critical missions, such as securing the release of prisoners of war and overseeing the weapons of mass destruction team in 2004.
