With nearly two decades of experience to his credit, Mr. Bayani has established a successful career in information technology, specializing in systems and network administration, cloud computing, AI, and cybersecurity projects. She currently serves as a principal software engineer in software development for VMware vSphere Cloud Foundation at Broadcom, a role he has held since 2018. His previous experience includes serving as a staff engineer at VMware from 2018 to 2023, a senior software engineer at YUME from 2015 to 2018, and a staff specialist product developer at Incubator Labs, BMC Software Inc., from 2010 to 2015. Earlier in his career, he worked as a software engineer at Umber Systems and Panta Systems, and as a product developer at BMC Software Inc. He has contributed to the industry by authoring several technical articles and patents, including “Image-Based Provisioning Using Multiple Data Streams” and “Hypervisor Agnostic Linux Virtual Guest Customization Solution” at BMC Software Inc. Reflecting on his career, he takes great pride in his time with a research group at BMC Software, where he led the development of a groundbreaking virtualization customization solution that earned him a U.S. patent and included extensive research on various BMC software products. In the coming years, he aims to improve software development processes, focusing on innovation and the use of generative AI to simplify the lives of both users and developers. In the short term, he aspires to take on a technical architect role, while in the long term, he plans to continue contributing to the software industry and helping reduce emissions through innovative techniques.
