Mr. Saer is an experienced professional who has been the chief design engineer at Scientific Arts Engineering in Aliso Viejo, California, since 2020. In addition to managing various aspects of engineering, which span several domains, he is responsible for designing and constructing full-scale recording studios. Dedicated to his field for over 30 years in New York and Los Angeles, Mr. Saer is renowned for his expertise.
In addition to his role at Scientific Arts Engineering since 2002, Mr. Saer has owned Image Music Publishing and has served as the senior technical engineer at QSC LLC since 2013. QSC LLC is a prominent company known for its high-power amplifiers and speakers used in venues such as stadiums. Mr. Saer recently completed a significant project for QSC LLC and is eager to work with the organization in the coming years.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Saer was a chief technical engineer at BBR Recording Studios from 2004 to 2008. In this role, he was recognized for designing and building a commercial Recording studio facility for Will Smith of Overbrook Entertainment. Among other noteworthy roles, Mr. Saer was the chief engineer and studio manager for Van Halen Music Inc. in Studio City, California, between 1997 and 2004 and had the opportunity to serve as an engineer on numerous projects with the renowned artist Billy Joel during the late 1980s.
Mr. Saer first became interested in the field while coming of age playing the guitar. In his teenage years, he became intrigued by electronics and amplifier repair before being hired for his first job at a local electronics store. Throughout his career, his work has been focused on product development, including research and development, design, and the creation of test fixtures.
Following high school, Mr. Saer completed college coursework at New York University. His success resulted in receiving an Employee of the Year accolade from a former company. He also secured four U.S. patents. Most notably, Mr. Saer invented a portable amplifier for Fender Musical Instrument Company, designed for guitars, keyboards and microphones.
Since entering his industry, Mr. Saer has accomplished many of his career goals, including creating a comprehensive sound system for his band with the help of a friend who also worked as an electronics engineer. At the time, he worked as an engineering technician in product development at NAPCO Security Systems in Long Island, New York. While at NAPCO, Mr. Saer developed various other new products as well. He also found success in manually fabricating circuit boards for prototypes, which ultimately helped him design and fabricate his own products later in his career, including a personalized recording mixing console.
Mr. Saer is working on a solo piano album, which will include approximately a dozen compositions, and a guitar EP with several tracks. His first production under the Image Music Publishing label is a video project titled “Letter to Ukraine,” which was inspired by the war and the Ukrainian refugees and is already available on YouTube. Mr. Saer plans to create a website for Image Music Publishing soon and begin freelancing, among other goals.
