He has also been supporting research, development and customer support efforts. Based in New York City, Ferric Corporation is best known as a pioneer of miniaturized DC-DC power converters.

Before landing his first full-time position, Mr. Kallicharran pursued various roles while working toward his degrees. He gained expertise through an internship with the U.S. Department of Education and the Aspire Program at Hofstra University, where he worked as a physics laboratory assistant. He notably received a Bachelor of Science in applied physics with a specialization in engineering from Hofstra University in 2018 and a Master of Engineering in electronics and electrical engineering from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University in 2022. He also completed Ridley Engineering Inc.’s simulation and software power design workshop in 2024. Apart from his degrees, Mr. Kallicharran has remained abreast of industry trends as a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, the Power Electronics Society, the Magnetics Society, the Dielectric and High Voltage Insulation Society and the American Physical Society.

An expert in various areas of physics and engineering, Mr. Kallicharran has contributed to the field by publishing in the Journal of Plasma Physics and Nuclear Science. While in college, he received the Presidential Scholarship and the Wide-Bandgap Generation Fellowship. He has also given back his time by tutoring students in mathematics and science. Mr. Kallicharran is eager for future success, aiming to leverage his amassed skills and experience to significantly contribute to the advancement of sustainable energy in the next 10 years.
