Throughout a career spanning nearly 20 years, Mr. Dhakne has established himself as a skilled and reliable engineer. His journey began in 2008 as a test automation engineer for Ocarina Networks. When that company was purchased by Dell in 2010, Mr. Dhakne was promoted to the role of senior automation engineer. He stayed with Dell for more than five years, later becoming a principal engineer. Mr. Dhakne’s extensive experience includes time as a founding solutions architect at CloudLanes and as a solutions engineer at Couchbase. He joined Confluent as a senior solutions engineer in 2019 and now serves as that organization’s staff solutions engineer.
Mr. Dhakne’s impressive performance in his field was born of his academic journey. He earned a Bachelor of Science in electronics and telecommunications engineering from the Maharashtra Academy of Engineering in his home country of India in 2004. Mr. Dhakne solidified his credentials further by obtaining certification in Amazon Web Services’ Elastic Compute Cloud in 2015. He credits his success to perseverance, tenacity and hard work. Mr. Dhakne also notes the importance of kindness and humility, having built his career on the notion that he should always listen to feedback from others.
Outside of his professional life, Mr. Dhakne is a devoted husband and father to one son. In his free time, he enjoys playing golf and painting. Mr. Dhakne envisions ambitious plans for his future, culminating in establishing his own business. Among other possibilities, he intends to explore the world of artificial intelligence, with a focus on using this promising new technology for targeted solutions.
