Highly educated, Mr. Columbus received a Bachelor of Arts in theater arts in 2008 and a Master of Science in software engineering in 2010 from the University of Minnesota and completed coursework toward a Doctor of Education from the University of Wisconsin-Stout in 2018. Furthermore, he received credentials as a project management professional through Project Management Institute Inc. and as a certified information systems auditor through the Information Systems Audit and Control Association. In addition to launching his consulting business, he worked for several companies, including Access Data Consulting Corporation, U.S. Bank, Robert Half Inc., UnitedHealth Group, and Park Nicollet Health Services. He also taught as an assistant professor at Dunwoody College of Technology until 2020. While with Park Nicollet, Mr. Columbus managed quality control and testing from 1998 to 2007. At that time, The change management process produced statistics that required more accuracy. After advocating for a new one, the organization underwent an extraordinary improvement, achieving a success rate of over 99%. Believing that his success is simply due to being in the right place at the right time, Mr. Columbus looks forward to leveraging his business and consulting skills to continue helping his wife’s company thrive while also considering developing and offering online courses in software engineering to educate and empower students.
