Mr. Chiartano is a seasoned professional who co-owns Chiartano Engineering Group as a senior engineer since 2020. The family-owned operation is recognized as a female, minority-owned small business that provides quality engineering services. Based in Colorado, the Chiartano Engineering Group offers multi-discipline engineering consulting services for commercial, government and residential industries throughout the state, including light medical facilities, retail spaces, tenant finishes, and office and educational remodels.
Since launching Chiartano Engineering Group, Mr. Chiartano has been tasked with managing all administrative aspects of the business, such as finances, invoices and payroll. He also oversees all commercial construction projects throughout Colorado Springs. Moreover, Mr. Chiartano is tasked with reviewing and approving all engineering projects to ensure safety and code compliance, examining engineering calculations and providing thorough reviews of all engineering drawings. His expertise in navigating building codes, city ordinances, and engineering best practices has been instrumental in his success.
Before stepping into entrepreneurship, Mr. Chiartano was employed by Delta Solutions and Strategies LLC, a technical and management consulting company in Colorado Springs, Colorado, from 2020 to 2021 as an electrical engineer. He also worked for PSI LLC as a facilities and electrical engineer between 2013 and 2020. Also based in Colorado Springs, PSI LLC is a leading fully integrated service company providing services for facilities and pipelines in commercial, industrial, municipal, oil and gas, renewable energy and utility industries. Before joining PSI LLC, Mr. Chiartano was affiliated with Plant Engineering Consultants Inc., a firm headquartered in Colorado Springs that focuses on areas such as mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and piping engineering, as an electrical engineer from 2012 to 2013. Earlier, Mr. Chiartano was a tech III for Black Box Network Services, beginning in 2004.
In preparation for his future, Mr. Chiartano attended Colorado Technical University, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering in 2011. He also received credentials as a professional engineer in 2017, making him highly qualified in his field. These academic accomplishments have set the tone for Mr. Chiartano’s remarkable career in engineering.
As part of his continued success and dedication to his field, Mr. Chiartano is a prominent member of the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying and the National Society of Professional Engineers. Besides his professional involvement, he has enjoyed providing pro bono engineering services for various charitable causes. He has also been involved with his local hospital and has sponsored several youth sports teams. Furthermore, Mr. Chiartano honorably served his country in the U.S. Air Force from 1999 to 2003, achieving the rank of senior airman.
Reflecting on his career, Mr. Chiartano attributes his perseverance to his progression. Working tirelessly to ensure success, he never allows obstacles to get in the way of his goals.
