With nearly four decades of experience, Mr. Dellinger has established a successful career in consulting, specializing in hydraulics, reliability, teaching, and troubleshooting. In this role, he develops troubleshooting manuals that integrate hydraulic flow and electrical control for hydraulic machines, creates detailed flow charts and documentation using AutoCAD, and performs hydraulic system reliability assessments. He also provides training, consulting services, and recommendations to improve system reliability while managing invoicing and quotes for his clients.

Mr. Dellinger’s experience also includes roles as a reliability engineer and fluid power specialist with West Fraser from 2020 to 2024, operations manager and instructor with GPM Hydraulic Consulting Inc. from 2018 to 2020, and consultant and instructor with the same firm from 2000 to 2020. Laying an educational foundation, he completed training in metal fabrication and welding at Metropolitan Vo-Tech School in Little Rock, Arkansas, and earned a Cat 1 vibration analysis certification. His technical expertise has been recognized through awards in basic and advanced hydraulics.

Mr. Dellinger attributes his success to the early influence of his time at International Paper, where he began as an operator before transitioning into maintenance. Determined to improve his skills, he worked hard to pass the company’s maintenance test, eventually spending 15 years in the role before joining GPM Hydraulic Consulting. This opportunity allowed him to broaden his expertise and pursue greater professional challenges. Looking to the future, he plans to focus on his career while gradually preparing for retirement. He finds fulfillment in his work and intends to continue pursuing his passion for hydraulics and helping others as long as he remains healthy and energized.
