With two decades of experience, Ms. Naikar has established a distinguished career in engineering. Since 2021, she has excelled as a PhD researcher at George Mason University, while simultaneously serving as director of engineering at Quorum Analytics LLC since 2020. In her current role, she oversees six product teams, managing all product development to ensure timely delivery and adherence to quality standards. She addresses service-level objectives for customers, recruits and retains top talent, and ensures her teams are equipped with the necessary resources. Additionally, she provides regular stakeholder updates to the executive team, aligning engineering efforts with the company’s strategic goals. Her experience also includes development manager at Rivermine, now Tangoe, from 2015 to 2020, staff software engineer at Rivermine and IBM from 2011 to 2015, senior software engineer at Rivermine from 2009 to 2010, and software engineer at UTStarcom from 2004 to 2006. She also volunteers with the National Society of Leadership and Success, contributes to the Special Olympics, and served as an assistant coach for the Virginia-DC FIRST LEGO League from 2018 to 2019.
Laying an educational foundation, Ms. Naikar earned a Bachelor of Engineering in computer science from Visvesvaraya Technological University in 2004, and a Master of Science in information systems from George Mason University in 2009. She is pursuing a PhD in human-computer interaction, artificial intelligence, and machine learning at George Mason University, and her professional certifications include scrum master, agile software development, and Java programming. She takes pride in expanding and leading Quorum’s engineering team, aligning them with the company’s product strategy. Her integration of cutting-edge technologies has positioned Quorum as one of the fastest-growing companies, an achievement she holds in high regard. Notably, she also led the successful launch of AI products, underscoring her technical and leadership capabilities. Looking to the future, she plans to complete her PhD by 2026, aiming for a senior director or vice president role and eventually transitioning into a C-suite position. She is also committed to promoting diversity and inclusion in the tech industry, supporting women in engineering and leadership roles, and advancing her vision for a more equitable and innovative industry.
