Mr. Gonzalez is a noteworthy engineer whose career has been marked by a series of progressive roles that have shaped his expertise in the field. Currently serving as a lead engineer at HCLTech, a subsidiary of HCL Group, since 2022, he has been instrumental in the continued success and growth within his department. Notably, he remains active by collaborating with his former employer, Johnson & Johnson, through HCLTech, supporting new product development using technology from Biosense Webster.

Before his role as a lead engineer, Mr. Gonzalez was a complaint analyst II at Johnson & Johnson in 2022 after initially serving as a complaint analyst I from 2019 to 2022. In these positions, he focused on handling customer complaints and product testing to identify reasons behind product failures.
Before pivoting into the medical devices industry, Mr. Gonzalez honed his skills in health care settings. From 2015 to 2019, he was the head of the biomedical engineering department at Hospitales Star Médica in Mexico. There, he managed hospital technology to ensure optimal functionality for physicians and nurses regarding patient care.
Mr. Gonzalez’s earlier experience included working as a polyvalent technician at Hospital de la Mujer from 2014 to 2015. His career began with roles outside of engineering, including in data entry at GENPACT from 2011 to 2012 while working toward his degrees.
Mr. Gonzalez’s academic background laid the foundation for his professional success. He earned a bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering from Universidad Autónoma de Ciudad Juárez in 2015. He also completed an internship at Hospital de la Mujer de Ciudad Juárez while pursuing his undergraduate degree. Subsequently, Mr. Gonzalez obtained a master’s degree in information technology from the University of Denver in 2025. These educational achievements were significant milestones as he was the first in his working-class family to graduate with a bachelor’s degree and pursue graduate studies.
In addition to his formal education, Mr. Gonzalez holds certifications that enhance his professional capabilities. He has obtained the Test of English as a Foreign Language certification from ETS and the International English Language Testing System certification from the British Council.
Mr. Gonzalez attributes much of his success to the unwavering support of his family, particularly his parents, who have been instrumental in helping him achieve his goals. This familial foundation has been complemented by mentors and colleagues who have inspired him throughout his journey.
