Mr. Langas’s tenure also included his involvement in several significant missions, including the Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter initiative and the Juno spacecraft program. His leadership and technical acumen were instrumental in the success of these projects, contributing to advancements in space exploration and technology. Mr. Langas also played a pivotal role in developing commercial systems, including a software product line for large communication satellites and the Space-Based Infrared System for missile launch detection.
