Among a range of responsibilities, Mr. Chambers coordinates with civil designers, civil engineers and product managers to execute large industrial projects for e-commerce clients on a national scale. He conducts due diligence for potential project sites, designs and permits facilities up to 150,000 square feet, and identifies suitable land for client projects. Moreover, he collaborates closely with architectural partners and developers, ensuring that each project yields job creation and positive economic impact. Mr. Chambers is instrumental in developing and executing comprehensive project roadmaps from initial diligence through construction.
Before being named program director, Mr. Chambers was a senior project manager at CESO Inc. from 2018 to 2023. During this period, he played a pivotal role in managing significant commercial and industrial projects. Mr. Chambers was selected to help lead the local office focused on the oil and gas industry at a time when CESO Inc. had approximately 200 employees. The onset of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 presented new challenges, but essential services in the oil and gas sector continued to operate.
From 2016 to 2018, Mr. Chambers served as a project manager at Mott MacDonald, an employee-owned engineering, development and management consultancy based in London, England. His earlier tenure as an engineer at Hatch Mott MacDonald, now Mott MacDonald, started in 2006. Over nearly a decade, he became known as a reliable professional and valued team member within a group of approximately 50 colleagues working on complex compliance initiatives.
Mr. Chambers began his higher education journey with an associate’s degree in mathematical science from Panama Canal College in Panama City, Panama, in 1999. He later acquired a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering in 2004 and a master’s degree in civil and environmental engineering in 2006 from West Virginia University in Morgantown. Mr. Chambers’s educational path was influenced by his mother’s encouragement to pursue studies in the United States, where he discovered an affinity for mathematics and science that led him toward civil engineering.
While pursuing his degrees, Mr. Chambers completed internships with the Autoridad del Canal de Panamá in 1999 and the West Virginia Division of Highways in 2003. He also served as a graduate research assistant at West Virginia University from 2004 to 2006, where he honed his technical skills while pursuing advanced studies in civil and environmental engineering.
In addition to his formal education, Mr. Chambers holds several professional credentials, including as a certified professional in erosion and sediment control from EnviroCert International Inc., professional engineer credentials from both the commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the West Virginia State Board of Registration for Professional Engineers, MSHA 24 certification from the Mine Safety and Health Administration, and Occupational Safety and Health Administration 10 certification.
Throughout his career, Mr. Chambers has been actively involved in industry organizations, such as the Young Professionals of Energy, the American Society of Civil Engineers, the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties, and the Commercial Real Estate Development Association. These affiliations have provided valuable opportunities for networking and professional development.
