Additionally, since 2022, Mr. Harris has contributed to the terminal and facilities department at Metalogic Inspection Services. His dual roles within the organization underscore his versatility and dedication to advancing quality standards in inspection, quality control and testing throughout the company.
Before joining Metalogic Inspection Services, Mr. Harris held several key positions at Applus+ RTD in Houston, Texas. From 2020 to 2022, he was project manager, overseeing complex inspection projects and ensuring adherence to rigorous safety protocols. Earlier, he served as a senior inspector between 2018 and 2020. He also excelled as an advanced technician at Applus+ RTD in Bakersfield, California, starting in 2015 after briefly working as a radiographer at Applus+ RTD in Ventura County, California.
Mr. Harris’s earlier experience includes serving as a geographic information systems technician at Applus+ RTD in Ventura, California, from 2014 to 2015. He also excelled in 2013 as an industrial radiographer at Meggitt in Simi Valley, California, after his initial role as an industrial radiographer at PCC Structurals Inc. in Clackamas, Oregon, from 2012 to 2013.
Mr. Harris’s academic background has played a pivotal role in his professional achievements. He earned an Associate of Science in quality control management from Spartan College of Aeronautics and Technology in 2011. Further enhancing his credentials are several industry certifications, including the GUL Level II: XB certification from Guided Ultrasonics Ltd., which demonstrates proficiency in advanced ultrasonic inspection methods. He also became a certified piping inspector through the American Petroleum Institute’s API 570 program. These designations have been instrumental in his professional success.
Mr. Harris attributes his success to formative experiences between the ages of 18 and 21. Facing significant adversity during this period, he gained a profound understanding of resilience and determination. These challenges instilled in him a drive to focus on his strengths and excel beyond expectations.
Throughout his nearly 15-year career, Mr. Harris has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to quality management and safety standards in metal inspection services. His leadership qualities and technical expertise continue to set benchmarks for excellence within the industry. Looking ahead, Mr. Harris aims to assume greater leadership responsibilities within Metalogic Inspection Services by taking on an executive role such as chief quality officer.
