Before joining Aya Healthcare, Mr. Van Dyke worked for CivicPlus in Manhattan, Kansas, as a lead software engineer from 2016 to 2022, where he was responsible for leading the engineering team in implementing Amazon Web Service migration and enhancements and building two successful prototype services that were adopted as new products. He also worked for GE Aviation in Manhattan as a software engineer between 2014 and 2016, during which time he led three leading projects while managing 20 employees. Among other opportunities, Mr. Van Dyke simultaneously co-founded and served as the director of engineering of Primary Mobile Med International in Topeka, Kansas, for more than a decade, beginning in 2010.
Highly educated, Mr. Van Dyke received a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering and mathematics and a Master of Science in mechanical engineering at Kansas State University. He also received a professional designation as a certified Scrum developer, automation specialist level I through Tricentis and several other accreditations through Amazon Web Services Inc. and LaunchDarkly. As a testament to his continuous commitment to the industry, Mr. Van Dyke is a member of Graduates in Mechanical and Nuclear Engineering. Civically, he has enjoyed volunteering with various local nonprofit organizations, such as Habitat for Humanity ReStore and Big Brothers Big Sisters of America, and serving as a spokesperson for Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America. As a leading authority in his industry, Mr. Van Dyke has written extensively on various topics as a co-author in various scholarly journals. In the coming years, he plans to continue progressing at Aya Healthcare, with the intention of landing a position as an architect where he can explore new territory.
